About Craig
Hi, I’m Craig Nobbs—an L&D and instructional design professional passionate about creating learning experiences that make a real difference.
MY BACKGROUND
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of learning, technology, and human performance. What started as a fascination with how people learn has evolved into a practice focused on designing learning solutions that drive measurable results.
My work spans multiple industries and contexts—from corporate learning programs to professional development initiatives. I’ve designed everything from complex eLearning modules to simple job aids, always with the same goal: help people develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
MY APPROACH
Learning design isn’t just about making content look good—it’s about understanding problems, identifying needs, and creating solutions that work in the real world.
My approach is built on:
Evidence-Based Design
I apply learning science and instructional design principles to create experiences that support how people actually learn.
Learner-Centered Thinking
Your learners’ needs, context, and constraints drive every design decision. If it doesn’t work for them, it doesn’t work.
Collaboration
The best learning solutions come from working closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and learners themselves.
Continuous Improvement
I believe in iteration, evaluation, and refining based on data and feedback.

BEYOND WORK
When I’m not designing learning experiences, you’ll find me exploring Sydney, staying current with the latest research in learning science, or experimenting with new technologies and tools.
I believe in sharing what I learn—which is why I maintain this blog, contribute to the L&D community, and continually invest in my own professional development.
LET’S CONNECT
I’m always open to discussing new projects, collaboration opportunities, or just connecting with fellow L&D professionals.
